This is the South East European Testing Board homepage!

The software testing is constantly gaining in importance in all business areas. Therefore software testing experts from South East Europe have come together in the South East European Testing Board to develop and define standardized contents for training in software testing.

We are part of The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). The South East European Testing Board and the ISTQB are both internationally recognized, independent and non-profit organizations.

If you were the manager of a company you would need to know that your testers are good at what they are doing and know what to do. One of the ways to assure this is to work with people who have been certified.

If you have the time and resources you could check the skills of your testers when you hire them - then you do not need certification. If there were software testing programs at universities, it would have been easier.

One can have reasonable confidence that certified testers can be expected to analyze the project, define appropriate test targets, plan, organize, direct, and take responsibilty for reviews and inspections or documents the code. Select test cases depending on probability of finding faults, associated risks, and required coverage.
