What is The ISTQB Certified Tester program?

The ISTQB Certified Tester program gives us knowledge to effectively verify and test software. At the moment there are two different levels in the program - the Foundation Level and the Advanced Level.

The ISTQB Certified Tester, Advanced Level, builds on the Foundation Level. The certificate consists of three parts:

- Test Manager
- Functional Tester
- Technical Tester

This offers the option to either acquire the certificate in one specific field or to take all three exams and receive an ISTQB Certified Tester, Full Advanced Level, certificate.

The syllabus and examination of both ISTQB Certified Tester modules are used by various national boards worldwide, ensuring internationally uniform standards and recognition across borders.
