Overview

The ISTQB® Gambling Industry Tester (CT-GT) certification covers the key concepts in the gambling industry, the gambling industry ecosystem, and the different test types common to the gambling industry. It includes aspects such as gambling industry compliance testing, fun factor or player perspective testing, math testing, audio testing, multiplayer testing, and interoperability testing.

The Gambling Industry Tester certification is aimed at anyone involved in software testing in the gambling industry including testers, test analysts, test engineers, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers, and software developers. It may also be useful to people in the role of project manager, quality manager, software development manager, system analyst (business analysts), IT manager, or management consultants, who wish to acquire a deeper understanding of software testing in the gambling industry.

To gain this certification, candidates must hold the Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate.

Candidates who have achieved the Foundation Level Gambling Industry Tester Specialist certification should be able to accomplish the following Business Objectives:

In general, a Certified Foundation Level Gambling Industry Tester Specialist is expected to have acquired the necessary skills to working effectively within a Gambling Industry testing team and environment.

Specialist Level Gambling Industry Tester exam structure

The Specialist Level Gambling Industry Tester certification exam is held in a digital form, as well as remotely (online) in English. The exam is comprised of 40 multiple choice questions, with a pass mark grade of 65% to be completed within 60 minutes. Participants that take the exam not in their spoken language, will receive additional 25% time, and will have 15 minutes more, or a total of 75 min.
