Your status as an
ISTQB Accreditation Training Provider expires within three (3) years. Near the end of this term, you are eligible to kick off the process for re-accreditation and submit yourself for a review. Re-accreditation may also invite a full-on audit of the training course owner.
This is a straightforward and efficient procedure, which is charged at the current re-accreditation fee, and training providers must provide their up-to-date teaching materials to SEETB. Approved, you, as the training course provider, receive accreditation for another three (3) years.
Re-accreditation is also triggered when substantial changes are introduced to the training process – this means any serious modifications that change the teaching material. In this case, the Training Provider is responsible to resubmit the material for re-accreditation. This is charged at the current re-accreditation rate.
Finally, re-accreditation occurs when a new version of the syllabi is released. Training Providers receive sufficient notice prior to said release and additional guidance in adapting their training process to the new materials. Re-accreditation resulting from a syllabus change may be charged at a reduced fee.
