On July 5, 2025, the national finals of the Testing Cup Bulgaria and Testing Cup Serbia took place, marking an important milestone in the regional stages of the ISTQB® World Testing Cup initiative.

After weeks of preparation and competition, the top QA teams in both countries faced off for the honor of becoming national champions and earning a place at the International Testing Cup Final in Copenhagen, this October.

Testing Cup Bulgaria 2025 - National final highlights

Bulgaria’s competition started with 50 participants, divided into 25 teams. Following two online rounds held on June 7 and June 14, the top 10 teams advanced to the national final, which was held in person on July 5.

At the end of the day, the Bulgarian national champions were crowned and will now prepare to represent the country at the global finals in Copenhagen.

The winners:

• 1st place - Automation Aid: Slav Astinov and Sava Barbarov
  
• 2nd place - Assert Ladies: Aneliya Mechkarova and Nikoleta Takova
  
• 3rd place - Break it to Make it: Mihaela Ivanova and Radoslav Mihaylov

Testing Cup Serbia 2025 - National final highlights

In Serbia, the Testing Cup took place as a one-day national final event, held live at the Quality House Serbia office on July 5. The competition brought together 12 participants, forming 6 teams, who faced real-world software testing challenges and competed for the national title.

Both national champions from Bulgaria and Serbia will proudly represent their countries at the ISTQB® World Testing Cup Final, set to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in October 2025.
