The ISTQB® General Assembly meeting in Cape Town (October 2012), approved the release of the ISTQB® "standard glossary of Testing terms", version 2.2. The glossary uses the principle of backwards compatibility as much as possible, this version can be used today by all stakeholders and formally replaces glossary version 2.1.
